This picture was actually taken out of a window of a moving car, which is why the foreground appears very blurry, while the background is focused and crisp. Although I wish the framing was better, I think the reflective quality of the building on the water adds a really nice parallelism to the composition.Tuesday, November 4, 2008

Nice shot of Boat House Row...nice reflections!
The crane and apartments in the background of your image become a somewhat ironic contrast to the classical architecture directly in front of it. I think it relates nicely back to your idea of parallelism.
